One area of law that has not changed since Prop 207 is DUI law. If someone is found to have marijuana in their system and seems to be found under the influence while operating a vehicle, they will be arrested and charged.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to this article: &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A traffic stop for a marijuana-related DUI will usually start like an alcohol-related one, but a breathalyzer for marijuana isn&#8217;t commonly available for law enforcement, so officers need other ways to detect drugs in a suspect&#8217;s system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Often, a drug recognition expert gets called out, and if it&#8217;s determined the driver is impaired, marijuana DUI investigations in Arizona require a blood test.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Law enforcement are going to great lengths to adjust to the legalization of marijuana and DUI laws, which means you should be extra careful with consuming it before driving.
