Offenders can face up to six months of imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p>Per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azleg.gov\/ars\/13\/02810.htm\">A.R.S. 13-2810<\/a>, interfering with judicial proceedings occurs when a person:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engages in disorderly, disrespectful or insolent behavior during a court session, directly resulting in the interruption of its proceedings or the disrespect of court authority.<\/li>\n<li>Disobeys or resists a court order, process, or mandate.<\/li>\n<li>Refuses to be sworn or affirmed as a witness in a court proceeding.<\/li>\n<li>Publishes a false or grossly inaccurate report of a court proceeding.<\/li>\n<li>Refuses to serve as a juror (unless exempted by law).<\/li>\n<li>Is selected to serve as a juror for a trial and inexcusably fails to attend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This charge commonly occurs when individuals violate a valid <a href=\"https:\/\/rideoutlaw.com\/order-of-protection\/\">Order of Protection<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/rideoutlaw.com\/injunction-against-harassment\/\">Injunction Against Harassment<\/a>, as these are court orders.<\/p>\n<p>Although <a href=\"https:\/\/rideoutlaw.com\/tampering-with-evidence-physical-evidence-or-witnesses\/\">tampering with evidence<\/a> can affect judicial proceedings, it is actually not charged under this statute.
