DUI Checkpoints in Arizona
As in most states in the United States, DUI checkpoints can be found scattered throughout Arizona, and they are legal. The following cities regularly have such checkpoints (but they can also still appear elsewhere):
- Phoenix
- Mesa
- Chandler
- Gilbert
- Glendale
If you have found yourself getting stopped while driving through a DUI checkpoint, make sure to comply with requests to produce your ID and insurance information. However, you do not have to consent to a search of your vehicle or to perform field sobriety tests.
