Nevada Re-Analyzes THC Blood Level Limit for Drivers

Nevada state lawmakers are coming together to create a better system of regulating drivers under the influence of marijuana. Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) is the measurement used for law enforcement and the medical field to determine how inebriated you are. BAC is pretty good indicator for impairment for everyone across the board. For marijuana, however, the THC blood level tests that are currently used are not as reliable as BAC. THC levels are not a good indicator of impairment because it affects everyone differently. The state of Nevada may move on to change the legal limit of THC in a driver’s blood, so if you do choose to consume THC and drive be sure you pay attention to what the law in the books is. If you or a family member do happen to get into legal trouble please visit any of our locations in Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Tempe, AZ, and Las Vegas, NV.
